Guesting Information

We look forward to welcoming you to a future DC-5 homegroup event. Here is a brief meeting guide on what to expect and tips/tricks on how to get the most out of your time with us!

Welcome Guide

What to Expect at a Meeting

Virtual Events

DC-5's monthly homegroup meetings are hosted on Zoom each month, except for April, June, September, and December when they are held in-person.  Virtual meetings allow ProVisors members from around the country the opportunity to visit, share testimonials, and participate in our discusssions.

Breakout-Heavy

Our members made a conscious decision to focus on small-group breakout sessions during our homegroup meeting, allowing all participants to introduce themselves and share their story in a smaller setting with a captive audience.

Limited Full-Room Time

In our commitment to small-room breakouts, we limit the amount of time in the main meeting room to specific agenda items like testimonials, announcements, and needs/deals/wants.

Testimonials

Testimonials are an essential part of our meeting, and largely the reason we come together each month to celebrate the successes of our members' collaboration. These are an opportunity to share thanks for opportunities presented, and for the meeting participants to hear more about the intricacies of what we do and who we work with.

All About Troikas

What is a Troika?

A Troika is a meeting of 3+ ProVisors Members with the goal of getting to know each other in a less formal setting.

Who gets a Troika?

All members (and guests who participate at our monthly homegroup meeting) will be assigned a Troika. Assignments are typical sent by e-mail within 24-48 hours of our homegroup meeting.

Troika Pro-Tips

  • Troika content should be 70% business, 30% personal and the time should be equally shared by attendees. Take time to get to know each other personally – hometowns, hobbies, families, etc.
  • Listen closely. Look for opportunities to create meaningful introductions for your Troika partners.
  • Study the photo/attendee list so you can possibly select someone with whom you would like to Troika. If you find someone you’d like to be paired with, please reach out to the Troika Manager in advance to request a specific Troika.
